CBD Architects' Display Project is coming!

Solara and Ondara are a pair of architecturally designed premium residences coming soon to Albany, Western Australia. Created by Architect and developer David Tomic in collaboration with CBD Architects, these two high-end homes will serve as CBD Architects’ very own display project; showcasing our commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and contemporary coastal living.

Construction is set to commence in 2026, with the display project opening to the public for viewing in late 2027.

Why Solara & Ondara

Solara and Ondara, Latin that loosely translate to Sun and Sea, reflects the essence of the breathtaking coastal setting.

Solara (Sun) sits proudly as the northernmost residence in the development, positioned to bask in daylight from dawn to dusk. Its elevated orientation captures sweeping views over Middleton Beach, Lake Seppings, and the distant Stirling Ranges.

Ondara (Sea) is named for its uninterrupted coastal outlook, offering equally spectacular vistas across Middleton Beach, Lake Seppings, and the Stirling Ranges.

Together, they celebrate the meeting of sun and sea—an architectural tribute to the natural beauty of Middleton Beach.

Solara and Ondara have been designed to harmonise with the natural beauty of Middleton Beach, offering a modern coastal aesthetic paired with low-maintenance materials and high-end finishes.

Each residence features a two-storey frontage from the street and a three-storey elevation from the rear, maximising views and creating a dramatic architectural presence.
