The Dam Denmark

A world class tourist destination deserves a world class tourist facility. The Dam is Denmark's newest landmark, surpassing anything the region has seen before. Carefully designed by Lead Designer Robert Forgione in conjunction with the Birkbeck Family, this unprecedented facility ensure the endless growth of the Great Southern Region.

The Dam is situated on Raintree; 880 acres of farming property where they produce their black angus beef, truffles, commercial hemp and marron, all of which you can enjoy on the menu

The following is a direct extract from The Dam:

"
The Dam is situated on Raintree, the charming 880acre family operated farm located just 10 minutes from town towards William Bay.

Operating as a diverse agri-business, Raintree supports over 200 black Angus cattle and nurtures over eight acres of Cannabis sativa (hemp) annually.

The farm nourishes 2500 deciduous oak trees inoculated and producing the acclaimed French black truffle, and propagates 2 tonne of marron across the property’s several dams with hopes to increase this to 5 tonne.

This diverse range of Raintree sustainably produced products are available to eat, drink and shop at The Dam, our seasonal bar and restaurant.

With a focus on fresh local produce, the menu is centred around Australian cuisine perfectly paired with hemp spirits by Cannabis Botanical Distillery, produced using Cannabis sativa harvested on Raintree and distilled on-site.

Available as a signature gin, vodka and carefully crafted signature cocktails, try our unique beverages alongside local beers and our range of Raintree wines created by artisan winemaker Coby Ladwig.

We invite you to experience the products of our sustainable farming operations and trust you’ll enjoy your visit to The Dam at Raintree."
